California High School Volleyball - Lynbrook over Monta Vista

Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 23. Lynbrook will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Fightin' Irish come into the match with a 12-12 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Jesuit (Carmichael, CA).

With the loss, Monta Vista drops to 16-9 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Mountain View (Mountain View, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a SCVAL - De Anza match on Wednesday, April 27. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 25-1. Mountain View won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA)
