South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets confront the Madison Mustangs (Jackson, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 26. South Gibson will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN).
The Pioneers now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host McKenzie for a 1A District 13 challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Gibson County will confront a Rebels team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Crockett County (Alamo, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 6-2.
