Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they host Goddard for a 4A District 4 challenge on Saturday, April 23. Artesia will face a Rockets squad coming off a 7-5 league loss to Lovington (Lovington, NM). The Rockets record now stands at 8-14.

With the loss, Goddard falls to 8-16 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Artesia (Artesia, NM) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A District 4 challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 17-4. Artesia won 11-3 in their recent league challenge against Portales (Portales, NM)
