The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Belmont Cardinals (Belmont, MS) and the visiting Leland Cubs (Leland, MS), saw Belmont's softball squad achieve victory over Leland by a count of 18-0.
The Cardinals now sport a 15-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Webster for a non-league match on Friday, April 29. Belmont will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over French Camp Academy (French Camp, MS). The Wolverines record now stands at 21-4.
With the loss, Leland falls to 1-2 on the campaign.
