Fort Wayne North Side Legends (Fort Wayne, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wabash Apaches (Wabash, IN), 18-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Legends now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Wayne Snider for a Summit challenge on Wednesday, April 27. Fort Wayne North Side will face a Panthers squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Wabash falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Apaches host Southwood (Wabash, IN) to face the Knights in a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, April 25. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Southwood lost 13-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Fremont (Fremont, IN)
