The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) and the visiting Mississinewa Indians (Gas City, IN), saw Logansport's softball squad nip Mississinewa by a count of 4-1.

The Berries now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to McCutcheon for a North Central match on Tuesday, April 26. Logansport will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Mississinewa falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Frankton (Frankton, IN) to face the Eagles in a Central Indiana match on Tuesday, April 26. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-4. Frankton lost 15-4 in their recent non-league match against Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN)
