Ohio High School Softball - Steele tipped by Mentor

The Mentor Cardinals softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Steele Comets to 8 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Mentor moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Cardinals host Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 26. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 0-4. Gilmour Academy 5-5 in their recent non-league game against Magnificat (Rocky River, OH)
In their next game, the Comets clash with the Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) in a Southwestern game, on Wednesday, April 27. Steele will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record.
