Illinois High School Softball - Trinity felled by Providence Catholic

April 23, 2022: New Lenox, IL 60451

In Saturday's league outing, the host Providence Catholic Celtics softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Trinity Blazers.

Coming up next, the Celtics encounter the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) in a GCAC- Red outing, on Tuesday, April 26. Providence Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Ramblers enter the outing with a 8-7 record after their 20-13 league loss to Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL).

The Blazers (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Vikings enter the GCAC- Red outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, St. Laurence prevailed over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), 8-2, in a league outing.
