St. Joseph Academy Crusaders (San Marcos, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Warner Wildcats (Warner Springs, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Diego Academy for a Citrus challenge on Tuesday, April 26.

With the loss, Warner falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to West Shores (Salton City, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a Manzanita challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-8. West Shores lost 21-12 in their recent league challenge against Julian (Julian, CA)
