The Wayland Warriors (Wayland, MA) softball the visiting Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), 12-10 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Dover-Sherborn (Dover, MA). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Dover-Sherborn by Bellingham (Bellingham, MA), 15-2, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Winthrop falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA) to battle the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 27. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a record of 4-1.
