The South Plainfield Tigers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Monroe Township Falcons to 7 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ). The Knights go into the GMC - Red match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Old Bridge edged South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 8-0, in a league match.
The Falcons (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ). The Ravens go into the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Robbinsville edged West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ), 5-4, in a non-league match.
