The Murray Spartans held off the host Cottonwood Colts volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Spartans now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park City for a 4A Region 10 test on Thursday, April 25. Murray will confront a Miners team coming off a 3-0 league win over Tooele (Tooele, UT). The Miners record now stands at 13-6.

The Colts (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 15-1 record. In their last game, Layton Christian Academy nipped Jordan (Sandy, UT), 3-0, in a non-league game.
