In Tuesday's league test, the host Middletown North Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-11 victory over the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls.

The Lions now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monmouth Regional for a Shore - Freedom test on Thursday, April 25. Middletown North will face a Falcons squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 3-4.

In their next game, the Garnet Gulls face the Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) in a Shore - Freedom test, on Thursday, April 25. Point Pleasant Beach will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 19-4 league win over Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ).
