Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge, on Friday, April 26. Topsail will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 8-1 non-league win over West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC).

The Wildcats now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host West Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge on Thursday, April 25. New Hanover will confront a Trojans team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-10.
