Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY), 14-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wayne upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Penn Yan Academy (Penn Yan, NY) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, April 25. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Newark (Newark, NY). The Reds go into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Newark was overwhelmed by Midlakes (Clifton Springs, NY), 13-2, in a non-league match.
