The Apex Friendship Patriots softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Apex Cougars to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Apex Friendship moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Rams come into the game with a record of 2-0. Cleveland won 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC)

In their next game, the Cougars play the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 24. Apex will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record.
