Illinois High School Softball - Bremen bounces Thornton Fractional North

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) and the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL), witnessed Bremen's softball squad prevail over Thornton Fractional North by a count of 17-2.

The Braves now sport a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Evergreen Park for a South Suburban match on Thursday, April 25. Bremen will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-8 league win over Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Thornton Fractional North moves to 3-12 on the season. The Meteors travel to Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL) to face the Hawks in a South Suburban - Blue match on Wednesday, April 24. The Hawks go into the match with a record of 0-8. Hillcrest lost 10-0 in their recent league match against Lemont (Lemont, IL)
