The South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) softball the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 5-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Tigers (14-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle go into the non-league bout with a 2-17 record. In their last bout, Ashley held off West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 11-1, in a league bout.

The Colts now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Gray's Creek for a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Friday, April 26. Cape Fear will confront a Bears squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 9-7.
