The Grant Union Prospectors softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Elgin/Imbler Huskies to 1 in the Prospectors league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Grant Union moves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Prospectors host Heppner/Ione (Heppner, OR) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A/1A-SD7 Special District 7 game on Friday, April 26. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 5-3. Heppner/Ione won 10-3 in their recent league game against Stanfield/Echo (Stanfield, OR)

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Stanfield/Echo Tigers (Stanfield, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD7 Special District 7 game, on Saturday, April 27. Elgin/Imbler will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 4-10 record after their 8-6 league loss to Weston-McEwen/Griswold (Athena, OR).
