The Franklin Academy Huskies softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Massena Raiders to 12 in the Huskies league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Franklin Academy improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Huskies travel to Norwood-Norfolk (Norwood, NY) to clash with the Flyers in a Section 10 East game on Thursday, April 25. The Flyers come into the game with a record of 1-5. Norwood-Norfolk lost 19-0 in their recent league game against Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY)

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Potsdam Sandstoners (Potsdam, NY) in a Section 10 Central game, on Thursday, April 25. Massena will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Sandstoners come into the game with a 0-4 record after their 20-12 league loss to Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY).
