Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ), 13-4 in a league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dayton for a UCC - Watchung challenge on Thursday, April 25. Johnson will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Governor Livingston falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ) to battle the Minutemen in a UCC - Watchung challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Minutemen enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Elizabeth lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Cranford (Cranford, NJ)
