The Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) softball routed the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cougars (21-6) will now prepare for their bout against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern Panhandle bout with a 4-18 record. In their last bout, Martinsburg was routed by Musselman (Inwood, WV), 17-2, in a league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Keyser for a non-league bout on Friday, April 26. Hampshire will confront a Golden Tornado squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 18-8.
