New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host D.H. Conley for a Big East 3A/4A challenge on Thursday, April 25. New Bern will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, J.H. Rose falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Rampants host Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 15-5.
