Marionville Comets (Marionville, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Pierce City Eagles (Pierce City, MO), 23-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Comets now sport a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crane for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Marionville will face a Pirates squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Purdy (Purdy, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Pierce City falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to College Heights Christian (Joplin, MO) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 24. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 3-12.
