Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a GMC - Red challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Monroe Township will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ). The Trojans record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Metuchen falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-10. J.P. Stevens lost 14-0 in their recent league challenge against St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ)
