Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM), 17-4 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laguna Acoma for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. Navajo Prep will face a Hawks squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Zuni (Zuni, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Tohatchi falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM) to face the Bears in a 3A District 1 challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Bears come into the game with a record of 8-10.
