St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), 20-0 in a league challenge.
The Lancers now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Matawan Regional for a Shore - B North challenge on Thursday, April 25. St. John-Vianney will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 15-10 league win over Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ). The Huskies record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Neptune falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Scarlet fliers travel to Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ) to battle the Colonials in a Shore - B North challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Colonials enter the challenge with a record of 5-3.
