South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hunt for a Quad County 3A challenge on Friday, April 26. South Johnston will face a Warriors squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Southern Wayne falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC) to face the Spartans in a Quad County 3A challenge on Friday, April 26. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 1-14. Smithfield-Selma lost 20-2 in their recent league challenge against Fike (Wilson, NC)
