The Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) softball routed the visiting Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME), 19-4 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Carrabec (North Anson, ME). The Cobras go into the Class D South bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Carrabec was routed by Richmond (Richmond, ME), 10-7, in a league bout.

The Bereans now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Richmond for a Class D South bout on Saturday, April 27. Temple Academy will confront a Bobcats squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Carrabec (North Anson, ME). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-1.
