The Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) baseball trounced the host Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC), 8-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Storm now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Dudley for a Mid-State 3A challenge on Thursday, April 24. Southern Guilford will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 24-1 non-league win over T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 11-9.
With the defeat, Ben L. Smith drops to 1-12 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a Mid-State 3A challenge on Friday, April 25. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 3-17. Eastern Guilford lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC)
