Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL), 5-3 in a league match.
With the triumph, Marist advances its record to 9-7 on the season. The RedHawks host Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to battle the Celtics in a non-league match on Thursday, April 24. The Celtics come into the match with a record of 12-5. Providence Catholic won 19-0 in their recent non-league match against De La Salle (Chicago, IL)
The Redwings now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York for a non-league match on Friday, April 25. Benet Academy will battle a Dukes squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The Dukes record now stands at 15-2.
