The Carroll County Cavaliers triumphed over the host Galax Maroon Tide baseball squad by a score of 21-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Cavaliers encounter the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a Three Rivers outing, on Friday, April 25. Carroll County will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 3-4 record after their 7-3 league loss to Floyd County (Floyd, VA).
The Maroon Tide (0-10) will now prepare for their outing against Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Spartans enter the Mountain Empire outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Giles was overwhelmed by Auburn (Riner, VA), 16-0, in a league outing.
