The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) and the host Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), saw McDonough's baseball team gain a win over Great Mills by a tally of 18-8.

The Rams (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The go into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, St. Charles was overwhelmed by Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 20-8, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Great Mills drops to 3-7 on the year. The Hornets travel to Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to clash with the Panthers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 25. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Patuxent lost 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Northern (Owings, MD)
