The Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL) baseball got by the visiting Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL), 3-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Indians now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host Wilmington for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. Sandwich will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 10-7 league loss to Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.

With the defeat, Richmond-Burton drops to 4-12 on the year. The Rockets host Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL) to clash with the Thunder in a Kishwaukee River challenge on Saturday, April 26. The Thunder go into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Woodstock North won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Harvard (Harvard, IL)
