The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), 10-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Desert Warriors now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaparral for a 4A District 3 challenge on Saturday, April 26. Santa Teresa will clash with a Lobos team coming off a 22-5 league loss to Deming (Deming, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 11-10.

With the defeat, Silver drops to 4-14 on the year. The Fighting colts host Deming (Deming, NM) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A District 3 challenge on Friday, April 25. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Deming won 22-5 in their recent league test against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM)
