The South Bend Washington Panthers triumphed over the visiting South Bend Riley Wildcats baseball squad by a score of 11-5 in Saturday's league outing.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Mishawaka Marian Knights (Mishawaka, IN) in a Northern Indiana outing, on Tuesday, April 29. South Bend Washington will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Jimtown (Elkhart, IN).

The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Cougars come into the Northern Indiana outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, New Prairie was overwhelmed by NorthWood (Nappanee, IN), 4-2, in a non-league outing.
