Arizona High School Volleyball - Mica Mountain can't get by Salpointe Catholic

Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Salpointe Catholic improves its record to 24-8 on the season. The Lancers travel to Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ) to face the Cougars in a 4A Kino test on Monday, April 28. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 12-15. Sahuaro won 3-2 in their recent league test against Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ)

The Thunderbolts now own a 24-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pusch Ridge Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. Mica Mountain will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 12-6.
