Colorado High School Baseball - Palisade holds off Montrose

In Wednesday's league game, the host Palisade Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 12-8 victory over the Montrose Red Hawks.
The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Rifle (Rifle, CO). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Rifle was overwhelmed by Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO), 19-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Montrose drops to 2-5 on the year. The Red hawks travel to Delta (Delta, CO) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 9-5.
