The Grass Lake Warriors baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Jonesville Comets to 0 in the Warriors non-league win on Wednesday.
The Warriors now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Napoleon for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Grass Lake will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Jonesville drops to 1-4 on the year. The Comets host Hanover-Horton (Horton, MI) to clash with the Comets in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Comets go into the test with a record of 6-1.
