The Palmetto Mustangs baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Pickens Blue Flame to 3 in the Mustangs non-league win on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carolina Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. Palmetto will play a Trojans team coming off a 23-0 league loss to Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, Pickens drops to 4-11 on the year. The Blue flame host Seneca (Seneca, SC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 2-10. Seneca lost 9-4 in their recent non-league test against Westside (Anderson, SC)
