New Mexico High School Baseball - Rio Grande edges Volcano Vista

The Rio Grande Ravens baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Volcano Vista Hawks to 4 in the Ravens non-league win on Wednesday.
The Ravens now hold a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Los Lunas for a non-league test on Friday, April 25. Rio Grande will play a Tigers team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.
With the defeat, Volcano Vista drops to 9-9 on the year. The Hawks travel to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to play the Storm in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Storm go into the test with a record of 12-9. Cleveland won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM)
