The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Dallas (Dallas, OR). The Dragons go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Dallas knocked off West Albany (Albany, OR), 16-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cubs clash with the Stayton Eagles (Stayton, OR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 24. Newport will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.
