Fans at Wednesday's league test between the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), witnessed Cornerstone Charter's lacrosse squad hold off West Stokes by a count of 1-0.

The Cardinals (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Wildcats enter the Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Eastern Guilford was nipped by Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC), 7-0, in a non-league test.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 28. West Stokes will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Pioneers enter the test with a 4-12 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC).
