Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), 17-10 in a league game.

With the victory, Cornwall Central advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Highland (Highland, NY) to play the Huskies in a non-league game on Monday, April 28. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 9-2. Highland won 19-11 in their recent league game against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY)

The Warriors now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. Minisink Valley will play a Warriors team coming off a 21-1 league win over Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-1.
