The James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) lacrosse routed the visiting Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA), 17-6 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Rapids now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mechanicsville for a non-league outing on Monday, April 28. James River Midlothian will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Powhatan falls to 2-7 on the year. The Indians host Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA) to face the Hawks in a non-league outing on Monday, April 28. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 4-4. Hanover won 13-4 in their recent league outing against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA)
