The George Washington Eagles soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Halifax County Comets to 2 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bassett for a Piedmont bout on Monday, April 28. George Washington will play a Bengals squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Bengals record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Halifax County moves to 7-3 on the year. The Comets travel to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to play the Trojans in a Piedmont bout on Monday, April 28.
