North Carolina High School Softball - Ballantyne Ridge succumbs to Palisades

April 23, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28277

In Wednesday's league test, the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), by a tally of 15-7.

Next, the Pumas meet the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a So Meck 4A test, on Thursday, April 24. Palisades will attempt to advance on its 11-12 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 14-7 record after their 17-0 league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC).

The Wolves (8-15) will now prepare for their test against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Cox Mill was routed by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 10-0, in a league test.
