The Berkley Bears triumphed over the host Clarenceville Trojans softball squad by a count of 15-6 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears meet the Ferndale Eagles (Ferndale, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 23. Berkley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Cass Tech (Detroit, MI).
The Trojans (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI). The Eagles enter the Michigan Independent - Blue challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Parkway Christian was routed by Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI), 18-3, in a non-league challenge.
