In Wednesday's league test, the Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH) softball squad the visiting Chalker Wildcats (Southington, OH), by a tally of 4-0.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Elyria Catholic Panthers (Elyria, OH) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 25. Mathews will attempt to advance on its 12-2 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 13-0 record after their 10-1 league win over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH).

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Maplewood (Cortland, OH). The Rockets go into the Northeastern Athletic test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Maplewood held off Bristol (Bristolville, OH), 13-0, in a league test.
