The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) and the visiting Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL), observed Waterloo's softball team prevail over Civic Memorial by a tally of 10-2.

The Bulldogs (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Chester (Chester, IL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league bout with a 13-5 record. In their last bout, Chester was routed by Sparta (Sparta, IL), 7-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 25. Civic Memorial will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Redbirds go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 16-0 league loss to Belleville East (Belleville, IL).
